Camera Critters-The Elephant Sanctuary

I love elephants! They are beautiful, gentle, wise souls.

There's an amazing place in Tennessee that lucky elephants called "their forever home".

From The Elephant Sanctuary web site, "To provide a haven for old, sick or needy elephants in a setting of green pastures, dense forests, spring-fed ponds and heated barns for cold winter nights."

Sounds lovely!

This morning on CBS, they had a segment on Tarra and Bella, who are best friends.

Tarra is an 8,700 pound Asian elephant. And Bella, is a dog.

Every year we have Christmas brunch at Woolley's Restaurant, in Embassy Suites in St. Paul, MN. The brunch is delicious.

They have a beautiful courtyard with a pond full of adorable little ducks.
