The steel fire tower is 100 feet tall, about 133 or so wooden steps to climb. It's not for the fainthearted. I have a great fear of falling, but I was determined to climb to the top. It was so windy at the top!! It was a blast!
Look at that sky!
The view from the top!

Gorgeous pictures (not of snow either!) Thanks for commenting on my post. I read back about your surgery. Being a physical therapist I cannot resist reading about orthopaedic surgery. Hope this one was a success!!!
ReplyDeleteBreath taking!
ReplyDeletethat is an amazing tower and the view. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun!!!! Last summer I stayed at a fire lookout tower. It was great. No fires but a beautiful view. Lots of mountains and you could see all the way to the ocean. MB
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on making it to the top. Your photos are beautiful!
ReplyDeletenice view and photo from the fire tower. You're braver than I am to climb that thing.
ReplyDeleteYour horse is beautiful. I ride a 14 hand Arab, and I agree, it's heart that matters, not size.
You are one brave woman indeed! That view was completely worth the climb though...amazing!
ReplyDeleteyour pics are wonderful, but then I noticed you have a weather widget on the right with our depressing forecast and I wish it was sunny and pleasant like your pics....
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful time for the climb! All the trees decked out in their fall finery! Thanks for sharing!
