If you know nothing else about me...know this "I am a horse woman!".

I have had horses my entire life, for me...it's not a hobby, it's a life style. I eat trails during the summer and horse camp each weekend. My Ice Pony Huginn is my trail partner. My mini mare Dixie is Huginn's best friend. My best buddies are Lucy Bear and Molly Macaroni, my two dogs. They go everywhere with me and love to horse camp.

I'm the type a Girl,who will burst out laughin' in dead silence.....cuz of somethin' that happened yesterday!

The View From the Top- Skywatch Friday

While horse camping last October at Mille Lac Kathio State Park, we hiked to the park's fire tower. I wanted to climb this tower for two reasons; test my legs/lungs and to help conquer one of my fears. Fear of falling.

The steel fire tower is 100 feet tall, about 133 or so wooden steps to climb. It's not for the fainthearted. I have a great fear of falling, but I was determined to climb to the top. It was so windy at the top!! It was a blast!

Gorgeous pictures (not of snow either!) Thanks for commenting on my post. I read back about your surgery. Being a physical therapist I cannot resist reading about orthopaedic surgery. Hope this one was a success!!!

What fun!!!! Last summer I stayed at a fire lookout tower. It was great. No fires but a beautiful view. Lots of mountains and you could see all the way to the ocean. MB

nice view and photo from the fire tower. You're braver than I am to climb that thing.
Your horse is beautiful. I ride a 14 hand Arab, and I agree, it's heart that matters, not size.
